About Me
Hello! I am Brent Cuya and I am currently a senior high school student in the Philippines!
As a student, a single event in my life, combined with a lot of factors and curiosity made me pursue a hobby of writing notes and lectures for others to read with the purpose of making a particular topic more digestible and easier to understand.
While it started from just pursuing to learn Calculus, it naturally evolved to other subjects like Physics, some Linguistics, and even attempting to learn Japanese.
For the past three years in high-school, I have written about 300 pages of notebooks filled with instructional materials by hand, complete with childish diagrams and practice problems I personally constructed for a single topic.
Upon this and in the coming years that pass, I have come to realize my skill in teaching other students about things that I usually pick up easily either through school and through research.Discovering this skill that I had gave birth to this Library project I started in the 1st of September, 2024.
About the Site
From the physical notes I built over the years, this site project is simply just an extension of the physical notes which I intend to transfer here given some time.
From here, I intend to continue my way of creating notes for other people’s references with the sole intention of to teach, as described in the previous section.
In addition, it also serves as my own way to easily share my digital work and as a medium in submitting my requirements for the next few years in my learning career.I also wish to expand the notes I originally written here so that they can be:
- more interactive
- easily distributed
- edited with ease
- easily examined and tested for inaccuracies and biases
As for the site’s backend, the notes are made with Obsidian, and converted into webpages using the open-source static site generator Quartz!
